budrich academic is an international, independent academic publishing house, training company, and partner in communication — based in Germany and serving the social sciences community worldwide.
Our Story
Barbara Budrich founded her publishing house in May 2004, building on decades of experience in academic publishing. In 2007, Budrich UniPress was established to publish both English- and German-language works for the scientific community. Together, these imprints form the core of budrich academic.
Our headquarters are located at Stauffenbergstr. 7, D-51379 Leverkusen, Germany.
